FAQ's
-
Is a home inspection required?
No! In most cases, home inspections are not a requirement in the home buying process. However, most people do elect to have one performed. An inspection will provide you with crucial information on the condition of your potential home. Waiving an inspection can lead to unexpected and costly repairs.

What will be included in my report?
With detailed documentation and photos, we provide a thorough analysis of the home's structure, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and more. Our goal is to provide a detailed and easy-to-understand assessment of your property. We provide pictures and clear descriptions of any issues we find, so you can make informed decisions about repairs or improvements.
-
What will be inspected?
Your inspector will observe the condition of the home’s HVAC system (temperature permitting), interior plumbing, electrical, roof, attic, visible insulation, walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors, foundation, basement and structural components.
-
Can I be at my inspection?
Yes! We always encourage our clients to be present if they wish. It's a great opportunity to ask your inspector questions or discuss concerns that may arise during the inspection. If you can't make it, don't worry. Our inspectors will be happy to discuss any report findings after the inspection.

What happens if my inspector misses something?
Our inspectors go through countless hours of training and take pride in their job. As such, we will always stand behind our work. However, we can only catch what we can observe. Often times, sellers go to great lengths to hide known problems only for the buyer to find out after moving in. We work with our clients on a case by case basis to determine why something was missed, and what can be done to make it right.
